UPDATE AS OF NOVEMBER 29, 2020:

If you are in need of a Confidential Marriage License, and/or are looking to get married as soon as possible, I have appointments with the Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder's office every other week through January 2021. Don't fret! We are like an underground secret that most people can't believe they hadn't heard about until this year.

Every Authorized Notary that offers Marriage Licenses in Los Angeles County has a different process, and I try to make mine as painless, efficient, and quick as possible. UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2020:

If you are in need of a Marriage License, you've found the right Notary! I have appointments with the Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder's office at least every other week through the end of the year, so I can definitely help you get your Confidential Marriage License. Please be advised that the normal turn-around time to get the license in your hands is 1-2 weeks (if you need it sooner then we can work that out, but there is an additional fee to expedite/rush).

UPDATE AS OF JULY 23, 2020:

The Los Angeles County Clerk's office has reduced their hours significantly, effective July 15, 2020. The next appointment I have with them to pick up Confidential Marriage Licenses is August 4th, 2020. If your ceremony will be after this date, please get in touch with me and I will be happy to assist you.

Also, to answer a Frequently Asked Question: if you filled out the Marriage License Application on LACRR's website, Authorized Notaries DO NOT have access to that information, and you will have to complete a new one.

UPDATE AS OF MAY 12, 2020:

Yes, I am still providing Confidential Marriage Licenses! The Los Angeles County Clerk's office just opened up on May 8th to authorized Notaries to pick up licenses, via appointment only. Appointment time is two weeks out so please plan accordingly (licenses expire 90 days from date of issuance).
